Privacy Policy

• •Account details: your email, a hashed password (never the password itself), a nickname, and the profile picture you upload.
• •If you sign in with Google: your Google account ID and the email Google confirms.
• •Your personas and notes: what you choose to tell characters about yourself.
• •Your chats: the messages you send and the replies you receive, so you can come back to them.
• •Gum activity: purchases, spending and rewards, so we can keep your balance right.
• •The photos and videos you make in a chat, with the short scene text that comes with them.
• •Technical basics: your language, an approximate country from your browser settings, and standard server logs.

To run the service: generating replies, keeping your history, charging Gum, and sending you the emails you ask for (like a sign-in code). Messages, personas and notes are sent to our AI providers so a reply can be written; they are used for that reply and not for training models by us.

On Box, when you turn on premium memory in a chat, it keeps short notes about you and your story, drawn from older messages in a chat, so the character can remember them later. The notes stay with that chat, you can see and delete them there, and they are deleted along with the chat.

When you ask for a photo or video, the recent messages of that chat are sent to our AI providers to write what the scene should show, and that scene text together with the character's picture goes to Google (Vertex AI), which draws the photo or the video. What you make is stored with your chat until you delete it.

We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

• •Amazon Web Services hosts our servers, database, and uploaded pictures.

As long as your account exists. When you delete your account we keep everything for 30 days so you can change your mind, then erase it. Purchase records are kept as long as accounting law requires.
